Speakers and Topics
Kevin Butts: Will discuss the process of getting started in the drone business, with an emphasis on vertical photography. This summer and fall, Kevin has been bringing this capability on-line for Red Wing Aerials, so has firsthand knowledge of the trials and pitfalls.
Brian Harvey: Will discuss the ins and outs of stitching large vertical photographs. Brian stitches his own work and also offers his services for hire. A fantastic resource for all us vertical photographers.
Jens Nielsen: The owner of our host, Pictureline, a top notch camera and drone retailer will bring us up to speed on the latest drone hardware and capabilities.
Galen Kovak-Lewis: A top technologist from Stockpile Reports will discuss all aspects of flying and photographing to measure stockpile volumes.
Steven Holtzman: Steven and Mark have a booming vertical photography business. Steven will share some of the secrets behind their success. This should be a great overview of the technology and terminology involved.
Paul Rodriguez: “Going Vertical: Business Decision Waypoints for Expansion”. This is a brief case study in how a small operator plans to leverage existing capabilities to fuel growth. Capital investment decisions and other market considerations will be discussed.
Roundtable Discussions: As we all know, some of the best information is exchanged in informal discussions. We will be sure to set aside some time to just sit around and talk about this stuff.
THE INFORMAL SIDE
Join in the fun January 18-20 in Park City. Skiing, boarding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, etc.
Come early for the conference and get in a few days of FUN. Groups will form as we like to meet for snow fun and meals.

Allen MacBean has offered to talk about mountain flying and share his experiences in the back country.
Mark Sanderson has offered to talk about soaring and getting high without an engine.
